Undersheriff Tom Adkins has been in law enforcement since 1997 and served in various positions such as Patrol, K9, Assistant Chief Of Police, Chief Of Police, Deputy Sheriff, and Investigations. Most of his career has been here at the Caddo County Sheriff’s Office. During his time here he served in several roles such as being a task force officer with the District 6 Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, Training Coordinator, and Special Response Team. While on the Special Response Team he worked his way up the ranks to Team Commander and served in that role for over 8 years.
Undersheriff Adkins not only devoted his life to serving our community but also served our state and country as a soldier with the United States Army and the Oklahoma Army National Guard for with a combined total of over 20 years. During that time, he became a combat veteran with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
