The Caddo County Sheriff's Office is a 35-man department consisting of 15 full-time deputies and 20 reserves split up into different divisions: Patrol, Investigations, Special Response Team (SRT), Narcotics, Transport, Civil Service, Negotiator, and Reserves. The Caddo County S.O. has two K9 Units: a Patrol/Narcotics K9 and one Narcotics/Tracking K9.
Caddo County is located west of Oklahoma City and consists 1,290 square miles and 29,600 people that reside in the county as of the 2010 Census. The county was established in 1901 and the first Sheriff, Frank Smith, took office. The staff works with federal, state, and neighboring counties including; Blaine, Canadian, Grady, Comanche, Kiowa, Washita, and Custer Counties to keep Caddo County residents safe.
